5.Dano’s dinner

Dano’s Diner offers a line of burgers named after some of baseball’s most famous players. The Jackie Robinson burger, with onion, green pepper, ham, secret sauce and sweet pineapple, is a fan favorite, as is the Coach Shep burger, which sandwiches a patty between two of Dano’s Diner’s most popular pancakes. Customers can also play burger roulette, leaving it to the chef to determine what goes on their burger.

4.ABBQ meat and drink

ABBQ is redefining the way Atlantic Beach is known for its beach bars and inexpensive food. Texas BBQ is the star of the show here, but the ABBQ Burger is not to be missed. Two four-ounce patties are topped with raclette cheese, smoked mayonnaise, and bacon and onion marmalade before being served. After placing your order, head outside to the garden for live music and games like the corn hole.

3.Poe’s Tavern

This Atlantic Beach restaurant and bar is known for its extensive burger menu, named after famous novelist Edgar Allen Poe. More than a dozen burgers are available on the menu, ranging from a basic cheeseburger to more sophisticated choices topped with pimento cheese, queso, and chili. Each burger comes with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and fried onions on a toasted brioche bun, as well as marinated bacon blue cheese coleslaw, potato salad or cut fries by hand.

Epik Burger offers over 30 different burgers on its menu, ranging from classic beef to vegan options, so there’s something for everyone. Traditional burgers with classic toppings are available, but try more adventurous options like the fried buffalo burger, which is made with a burger patty that has been fried and tossed in buffalo sauce, or the fruit burger and cheeses, which is topped with cheddar, poached apples, bacon and honey.

1.Bb’s Restaurant and Bar

On the outskirts of downtown Jacksonville, Bb’s Restaurant and Bar is known for its sophisticated parties and convivial dining. Every Tuesday at lunchtime, the restaurant offers a special burger rotation which is kept secret until customers arrive. The chef has already produced specialties such as a rib eye burger with truffle aioli, havarti cheese and arugula, as well as a rib eye burger with truffle aioli, sautéed onions and fried mushrooms, all served with parmesan herb fries for a traditional combination.
