For the uninitiated, Massimo Bottura is an Italian restaurateur and the chef patron of Osteria Francescana, a three-star Michelin restaurant based in Modena, Italy, which is in the top five of since 2010 and has received top marks from L’Espresso, Gambero Rosso and Touring Club guides.

Torno Subito is his first Michelin star-awarded restaurant, located at W Dubai in the picturesque Palm Jumeirah.

The restaurant that seats up to 150 diners shows us Bottura’s favorite way of getting away from it all by taking diners on a journey to the 1960s Italian Riviera where everything is sophisticated and social yet laid back.

Guests have the option of dining alfresco or on the beach next to the blue waters.

The iconic fine-dining restaurant hosted its third edition of the hugely popular “Friends of Massimo” on Thursday evening.

The sensational Italian experience was hosted by Torno Subito’s chef de cuisine, Alessio Pirozzi, and one of Italy’s most celebrated chefs, Riccardo Forapani, who is the chef de cuisine at Maranello.

Forapani worked under the expertise and guidance of culinary genius Chef Bottura at the age of 20 at Osteria Francescana.
